About Julia

Julia has worked at or managed many of the best cocktail bars in Washington DC including Rasika West End, Hogo, Jaleo, Barmini, Maketto, The Next Whiskey Bar at the Watergate Hotel, and most recently The Gibson. As creative director, she has developed menus ranging from forgotten pre-prohibition classics to tiki fire bowls to fine dining complements. She has won awards such as Beverage Media’s Top Mixologists to Watch and has been featured in various media including NPR’s All Things Considered.
